Our design staff will customize a lightning protection system that is unique to your project. The system design will meet the requirements of industry standards CAN/CSA M87–B72, NFPA 780 or UL 96A.

A properly installed lightning rod system will protect your structure from damage caused by lightning strikes.  Our experienced staff has been professionally trained to install new lightning rod systems as well as retrofit existing systems to meet industry standards. 

The design and installation of the grounding system is one of the most important aspects of lightning protection.  The design of the grounding system will depend on the complexity of the structure and the soil conditions in the surrounding area.  The grounding system will be installed and tested to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Surge protection devices protect against damaging electrical surges caused by lightning strikes.  A surge suppressor on the electrical service panel is required to safeguard your electrical equipment. Telephone protection is available for your telephone and high speed data services.  Coaxial protection will shield your cable, satellite, antenna TV and security circuits from electric surges.

Inspection and certification is available through Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). 

The UL Inspection Services Program offers third-party inspection for completed lightning protection systems.  A Master Label Certificate or Letter of Finding can be provided for lightning protection systems installed in accordance with published standards.

Lightning protection systems need to be inspected on a regular basis and maintained to ensure compliance with industry standards.  An incomplete or damaged lightning rod system will not protect a structure from lightning strikes.  Inspection and maintenance programs are available for residential, commercial and industrial structures.
